I provide custom web/cgi program development services for
medium to large sized products. I have been developing software
for more than 20 years and have a range of skills available
to us to make your project a success.
We develop scripts from your
specifications or, if necessary, we will work with you to
develop specifications for your script. We work in Perl and
MySQL and will take a project through its complete life cycle
for you. That includes working out all design and technical
issues, developing and testing the code on your server,
developing a documentation package for your code and doing a
full test of your code to be certain it is functional and works
as specified. Additionally, we offer a 30 day warranty against
defects in out development efforts. If you need us for longer,
to do ongoing support or ongoing enchancements, we can structure
a contract to handle those needs too.
We do not do installations of
canned scripts, customization of scripts except for MaxSponder
(unless part of a larger job) or very small projects. The reaosn
we don't do these activities is that they are very time
consuming in terms of the payback for the amount of effort. For
instance, to customize a script, we must familiarize ourselves
with it, do the customizations, install the customizations, test
and warranty them. In instances like this, a one hour job of the
actual customization could actually involve 20 hours of effort
which would result in an enormous bill and a shocked customer!

evaluate the proposal and get back to you within 3 business
days with an answer. We will give you details about the job,
our estimate of the time for completion, our estimate of the
cost and whether you have provided enough detail to offer a
fixed price contract or if it has to be done hourly and
details of how we generally handle financial arrangements
for a contract of that size.
From this, we will have a
dialog (either by email or phone) to firm up any open
questions and convert all the details to a written contract
and then proceed to develop your project.
